Last year at Martinsville, Jimmie Johnson's series-high sixth victory of the season was overshadowed by word that a plane carrying 10 members of the Hendrick Motorsports organization crashed. Johnson and three other Hendrick drivers were informed of the crash after the race, and Johnson was excused from Victory Lane. The Subway 500 begins at 12:30 p.m. ET Sunday on NBC.
