NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- Stanley Tools will have a fresh look in 2008.

NASCAR fans will now see the familiar yellow and black colors of the Stanley brand on Elliott Sadler's Gillett Evernham Motorsports No. 19 Dodge at a dozen races plus the All-Star race during the upcoming Sprint Cup season.

The Stanley brand has served as a co-primary sponsor on the No. 10 Dodge at Gillett Evernham Motorsports since 2006 as well as an associate sponsor.

"We are excited about our increased involvement with Gillett Evernham Motorsports and Elliott Sadler," said Scott Bannell, vice president of brand marketing at Stanley Works. "We are optimistic about the 2008 season and look forward to seeing the Stanley Tools Dodge at the front of the field."

Stanley will sponsor the No. 19 Dodge for 12 races in 2008, including races at Las Vegas, Phoenix (April 12), Richmond (May 3), Pocono (June 8), Infineon, Indianapolis, Michigan (Aug. 17), New Hampshire (Sept. 14), Lowe's (Oct. 11), Texas (Nov. 2) and both Bristol races.

In addition to the No. 19 primary sponsorship, Stanley will continue its involvement as an associate sponsor on the No. 9 Dodge of Kasey Kahne and the No. 10 Dodge of Patrick Carpentier. Stanley logos will also be on Carpentier's No. 9 Dodge for the Nationwide Series race in Montreal.

"Stanley has been a great partner to the entire Gillett Evernham Motorsports program and I'm honored they will now be one of my primary sponsors," said Sadler, who will also be sponsored by Best Buy for 15 races in the 2008 season.

"Gillett Evernham has some very lofty goals on the track in 2008 because we have such strong sponsor support. Stanley is one of the most respected brand names in the world and the kind of company that will help get us to Victory Lane."

The Stanley Works was a pioneer in the sponsorship of NASCAR racing as one of the first tool companies to provide support for the then-Busch Series in the 1980s and '90s, including involvement with teams such as Cecci-Welliver.
