Hitachi Power Tools inks six-race deal with Yates

CONCORD, N.C. -- Yates Racing on Wednesday announced that Hitachi Power Tools, a world-wide leader in professional grade power tools and accessories, will sponsor the No. 28 entry with driver Travis Kvapil for a total of six races in the remaining Sprint Cup Series schedule.

The primary sponsorship will debut at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 27 and the race will mark the first time Hitachi Power Tools has been a primary sponsor in NASCAR's elite division.

The remaining five races of the primary sponsorship will include the events at Pocono, Richmond, Dover, Charlotte and Atlanta.

Kvapil has three top-10 finishes and four top-15s this season and currently is 21st in driver point standings.
