We should nickname Mark Martin the "monster" because he is one at the Monster Mile.

Dover International Speedway, site of Sunday's Autism Speaks 400 (1:30 p.m. ET, FOX) is Martin's best track of the 22 currently on the Cup Series schedule. Martin is eighth on the all-time starts list at Dover with 45. In those 45 starts he has four wins (tied for fourth all-time and tied for first among active drivers), 21 top-fives (all-time leader), 28 top-10s (all-time leader) and four poles (tied for third all-time and tied for first among active drivers).

Martin has led 1,722 laps, has an average starting position of 11.0 and an average finish of 12.8. In the last 10 races at the one-mile oval, Martin has finished outside the top 10 twice and inside the top five six times.

While Martin has nine other current tracks where he has a better average finish, only four tracks have seen him visit Victory Lane at least three times.
