Mike Skinner is on a roll, but whether it's enough to catch points leader Ron Hornaday remains to be seen. He's currently in third place, 213 points out.

Skinner goes to New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend looking for his third consecutive victory. The bad news: he's never won there in six starts. The good news: his three wins this year have come at tracks at which he had never won (Kansas, Iowa and Gateway).

But there's more bad news than good for Skinner. Hornaday is going for his third consecutive victory at New Hampshire. He's the only driver with more than one win there, with three (he won the inaugural race in 1996, making a last-lap pass for his lone lead).

In addition, in the past four races, Hornaday has led all drivers in the following Loop Data statistics: Driver Rating (132.3), Average Running Position (3.4), Fastest Laps Run (99), Laps in the Top 15 percentage (99.6), Laps Led (379) and fewest Green Times Passed (69). Skinner has a Driver Rating of 101.2 (sixth-best), an Average Running Position of 8.7 (sixth) and 69 Fastest Laps Run (second).

In those races Hornaday has top-10s in each -- including three of his overall four top-fives -- finishing no worse than sixth. Skinner has a runner-up finish and a third place -- his only top-fives (three top-10s overall) -- but finished 24th in 2005 and 15th last year.

Coverage of the Heluva Good! 200 begins at 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday on SPEED.

3Races won from the pole: Jack Sprague (2001), Jimmy Spencer ('03) and Ron Hornaday ('07). Six races have been won from the front row and only one of the 13 races has been won from a starting position outside the top 10: Jay Sauter (26th in 1997).
4Former winners entered in this week's race: Ron Hornaday (1996, 2007-08), Dennis Setzer (1999), Terry Cook ('02) and Rick Crawford ('05).
4Place of finish in 2006 and '07 for Todd Bodine, his only top-10s in five starts. He hasn't finished better than 19th in any other race.
4.211Margin of victory, in seconds, for Ron Hornaday in 2007, the largest in track history. He also set the track average speed in that race at 109.780 mph.
5Top-fives for Dennis Setzer, most of any driver. However, he hasn't had a top-10 since finishing second in 2005.
6Most top-10s by active drivers: Rick Crawford (12 starts), Ron Hornaday (eight) and Dennis Setzer (10). Jack Sprague is the all-time leader with seven (11 starts).
10.0Average place of finish in three starts for Kevin Harvick, who last raced at New Hampshire in 2002, finishing eighth in his then-No. 6 truck. He is scheduled to make his third series start of the season this week in his No. 2 Chevrolet.
17Lead changes in 2005, a track record. Seven races have had double-digit lead changes, including 14 last year.
51Laps led for Kyle Busch, same as his truck number, although none of them have come in the No. 51. He led 46 laps in 2006 driving Billy Ballew's No. 15 truck. Busch finished third, his only top-five. He has two top-10s and a crash (33rd) in three other starts.
129.626Qualifying speed, in mph, set by Mike Skinner in 2006, a track record.
