Petty, Braun teaming up for five Nationwide races

STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Richard Petty Motorsports will partner with Braun Racing to compete in five Nationwide Series races this season.

The Petty team competed full-time in the series until this season when it chose to run a fourth Sprint Cup Series team. Team officials said the agreement with Braun Racing makes a successful return to the series more likely.

Elliott Sadler will drive on June 27 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Kasey Kahne will drive the other four races:
• July 3 at Daytona
• Aug. 21 at Bristol
• Sept. 5 at Atlanta
• Oct. 16 at Charlotte
