Mansfield Raceway, a three-eighths-mile dirt oval, opened in the spring of 1959 and was stretched to a half-mile in 1972. In 1998 a group of Cleveland area men rescued the track from its demise at a sheriff's auction. In the spring of 1999 the dirt track received a blacktop surface and reopened as Mansfield Motorsports Speedway.more
